As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work closely with our data science and software engineering teams to ensure that our data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data processing systems that support our business needs.
- Design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure, including data pipelines, databases, and data warehouses
- Develop and implement data processing systems that support our business needs
- Collaborate with data science and software engineering teams to ensure data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable
- Build and optimize ETL processes to ensure data quality and consistency
- Create and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and workflows
- Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and help them access and analyze data
- Monitor and troubleshoot data processing systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and evaluate their potential impact on our data infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Java
- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, or graph databases
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
